South End Infant School is a welcoming and supportive school.  The whole school community works hard, using innovative methods to cater for all children’s needs and embrace their diversity.  We excite children in their learning and inspire them so they achieve their full potential.  The school aims to be a place where the children want to come to learn and enjoy, where they feel valued and part of the school family.

We are a Northamptonshire County Council Infant School, providing education for boys and girls aged 4 - 7 years in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Year Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.  The standard number for each class is 30 and there are three classes in each year group. Transfer to South End Junior School, which is on the same site, takes place in the September after the child’s seventh birthday. We are a direct feeder for the junior school.

South End Infant School was rated as “Outstanding” by Ofsted in both 2005/06 and 2008/09
